Accessibility Statement

Last updated: March 16, 2026

1. Our Commitment

RapidCaster is committed to making our platform accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level, which provides a wide range of recommendations for making web content more accessible.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we are continually working to improve the experience for all users.

2. Accessibility Features

RapidCaster includes the following accessibility features:

Keyboard Navigation

All interactive elements, including buttons, links, form fields, and navigation menus, are accessible via keyboard. You can navigate the interface using Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, and Escape keys without requiring a mouse.

Screen Reader Support

We use semantic HTML elements, ARIA labels, and proper heading hierarchy to ensure screen readers can interpret and convey page content accurately. Interactive components include descriptive labels and state announcements.

Color Contrast

Text and interactive elements maintain sufficient color contrast ratios against their backgrounds. Our dark mode and light mode themes are both designed with accessibility in mind, targeting WCAG AA contrast standards.

Responsive Design

RapidCaster is fully responsive and works across devices of all sizes, from mobile phones to desktop monitors. Content reflows to fit smaller screens without requiring horizontal scrolling or losing functionality.

Text and Readability

We use readable font sizes, clear typography, and adequate line spacing throughout the application. Users can zoom in up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.

Focus Indicators

Visible focus indicators are present on interactive elements so keyboard users can always see which element is currently focused.

3. Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of the application may have limitations:

  • Video player controls may have limited screen reader support depending on the browser
  • Some drag-and-drop interactions (such as the podcast kanban board) may require alternative methods for keyboard users; we are working on keyboard-accessible alternatives
  • Dynamically generated AI content may not always follow optimal heading structure
  • Third-party embeds or integrations (such as Canva or Stripe) may have their own accessibility limitations outside our control

We are actively working to address these limitations and improve accessibility across all features.

4. Standards and Guidelines

Our target standard is WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This includes guidelines for:

  • Perceivable — Content is presented in ways that users can perceive, regardless of ability
  • Operable — Interface components and navigation are operable by all users
  • Understandable — Information and interface operation are understandable
  • Robust — Content is robust enough to work with current and future assistive technologies

5. Reporting Accessibility Issues

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of RapidCaster. If you encounter an accessibility barrier or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us. We take all reports seriously and will work to resolve issues promptly.

When reporting an issue, it is helpful to include:

  • A description of the issue you encountered
  • The page or feature where the issue occurred
  • The browser and assistive technology you were using
  • Any steps to reproduce the issue
