2. Cookies We Use

RapidCaster uses a minimal number of cookies, all of which are strictly necessary for the Service to function. We do not use any third-party tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.

2a. Session Cookie

When you sign in with Google, we set a session cookie that contains a unique session identifier. This cookie keeps you logged in as you navigate the app. It does not contain any personal information. The cookie expires when you log out or after a period of inactivity.

• Duration: Session / expires on logout or inactivity
• Type: Strictly necessary

2b. Theme Preference Cookie

If you switch between light and dark mode, we store your preference in a cookie so the app remembers your choice on your next visit.

• Name: theme
• Purpose: Remembering your dark/light mode preference
• Duration: 1 year
• Type: Functional

2c. Google OAuth State Cookie

During the Google sign-in process, a temporary cookie is set to maintain the authentication state and prevent cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks. This cookie is automatically deleted once sign-in is complete.

• Name: oauth_state
• Purpose: Secure authentication flow
• Duration: Deleted after sign-in completes
• Type: Strictly necessary

3. Third-Party Cookies

RapidCaster does not use any third-party tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other advertising or behavioral tracking technology. The only third-party involvement is Google OAuth during sign-in, which may set its own cookies on Google's domain during the authentication flow.

4. How to Manage Cookies

You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

• View what cookies are stored and delete them individually
• Block all cookies or only third-party cookies
• Set preferences for specific websites
• Clear all cookies when you close your browser

Please note that if you block or delete our session cookie, you will be signed out and will need to sign in again to use RapidCaster. Blocking the theme cookie will reset your display preference to the default on each visit.
